I am so sad for them . . . although I pray that they do not weep as one with no hope.
This was esp. sad for us as we regularly use Children's in Cinncy partially because of it's excellent reputation. That means we drive farther than we would have to--by-passing a closer Children's Hospital which doesn't have such a good reputation. I hope and pray that Children's will keep their good reputation by freely apologizing for what appears to have been a tragic mistake, revoking this famiy's bills and so on. While I don't hold out a lot of hope for that given the climate of lawyers we live in . . . I can hope. . .
oh no- I just got home from a weekend with no computer. I am praying for the family to have strength and for abundant grace to be poured out over them as they grieve for their son and wait for the day they will dance on the streets that are paved with gold and see his sweet face again. love, Holly
Praying for your friends as the grieve this terrible loss. I can't begin to imagine how deeply they hurt and miss their little guy. Praying that the hope of Jesus fills their hearts with peace...knowing they will hold their sweet boy again.
I am a wife to a man sent straight from heaven, a mom to 2 precious biological girls, one amazing little boy born with a limb difference adopted internationally and a soon to be son we are adopting from the foster system. I am passionate about God's call to care for orphans and love advocating for kiddos that need homes. We are also foster parents and are totally being blessed by loving on kiddos for a season. I love talking adoption so don't ever be afraid to ask questions.
Statistics There are more than 143 million orphans worldwide There are more than 800,000 children in America’s foster care system each year. More than 33% of Americans have seriously considered adopting, but no more than 2% have actually adopted. The Holocaust murdered about 11 million people, 6 million of them Jews, From 1973-2002 MORE THAN 42 MILLION abortions occurred in AMERICA alone. In 2001, 159 million people in America identified themselves as Christians, many who consider themselves pro-life, yet 1.5 million babies never saw life, and millions remained orphans worldwide-127,000 adoptions took place, the most common of these 127,000 was step parent adoptions, leaving approximately 142,873,000 kids still needing families

Oh no, my friend. My heart aches for them. I cannot even imagine the pain of their loss.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
