Update on Mark and Diane

Well, they emailed this morning and said the judge refused to see them. Other families are not having any problem at all but for some reason they are having a hard time. As of right now they have no answers on what to do.

So we need to pray even harder that the heart of this judge will be softened and that this will be over with and that they can bring their children home.

This is going to be a very hard weekend for them having no answers. So I am asking you for some help. Over the past couple of days I have had hundreds of visits to my blog but only a few comments left. Let's help them get through this weekend by knowing that people from all over the world are praying for them. I know some of you out there have never left a comment before but this would be a great time to start. I know I have family out there that reads this blog but have never left a comment so I challenge all of you to leave a comment.

You can tell them your praying for them and where your from.

You could leave a scripture for them.

You could leave a prayer for them.

It is so easy to do and you don't even have to leave your name if you don't want to. All you have to do is click on the word comments under this post. Please help me in letting them know that they are not fighting this battle alone. Let's help them get through this weekend. Thank you in advance for your comment!

Dear Mark and Diane,
I have not walked in your shoes, but I have walked through some dark valleys in my journey with the Lord and during those times when there was NO light visible, I had a choice to make. I could allow bitterness to take root in my heart and I could get angry or I could cling to God's promises and trust that His Word is still true in the darkness as it is in the light. Those dark times grew my faith in ways no other test could grow it. I don't wish for those times, but God uses all of our suffering for good in ways we can't fathom. His word promises that in ALL things, He IS at work for the good of those Who love Him...Romans 8:28. He is at work in this situation that doesn't make a lick of sense to any of us right now. His word also says that He has good plans for us...for YOU...for these precious kids you are fighting for...plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them HOPE and a future. Jer. 29:11.
So this long weekend far far away, I will pray that the God of HOPE will fill you up with all joy and PEACE as you trust in HIm so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
He is more than able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
Be encouraged as you wait on the Lord. He will not forsake you.
Blessings,
Holly from Purpose Driven Family

Mark and Diane,

I am praying for angels to intervene on your behalf - softening the heart of this judge.

A verse that has touched me personally this week is Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful."

God sees the bigger picture - far beyond anything we can imagine and He is faithful!!

Also sending prayers for peace for your hearts as well...

Mark and Diane,

Lifting you up to Him who knitted this precious little one into your heart before the foundation of the world.

For when we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, with such groanings as cannot be uttered. And He who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit, for He intercedes according to His will. Romans 8:26

Mark and Diane,
I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling...so in love with your new son and daughter and so confused by the circumstances. Brad and I have explained your situation to our boys and we've been praying for you as a family at dinner each evening. Yesterday, Sam (6) prayed that you would "not feel lonely even though you don't have friends there. Help them remember my kindergarten verse (the transition was tough & we taught him this verse to use when he was afraid), "The Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."
So, know that the entire Johnson clan is praying for you...and trusting that God will cause the judge's heart to be softened. If not, I can come over there and beat him up -in Jesus' name, of course. {grin} We love you...and we're praying for you.

You are not alone! I am here interceding to my Father on your behalf....

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come.
-Habakkuk 2:3

Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly more than we can ask or think, to Him be glory.
-Ephesians 3:20

Definitely praying here in Idaho. Please know you are NOT alone. Jesus is walking this very difficult path with you and when necessary He will carry you in his arms as a Shepherd carries his lambs.

Positively praying and lifting your family as you go through this valley. SO sorry to hear that there seems no rhyme or reason to any of this. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that you are surrounded in prayer and God's love.

Praying, praying, praying in Colorado. Lord Jesus, I lift up Mark and Diane and those little babies that need a mama and a daddy. Bring them hope and peace and joy in the midst of this very hard valley. Help them know the height and breadth and depth of your love in new and amazing ways. Move, Father, and soften the judge's heart. Give them a divine appointment with the judge today, Father. Thank you for your hand in this situation, Lord God
