Pictures of the Kids Planting The Trees
Thanks Joshlin! I forgot to post pictures of the kids planting the trees. Here they are:
Thankful Thursday
Last week we were driving around and the lilacs were in full bloom. I told the kids to tell daddy I wanted a lilac bush for Mother's Day. Do you know the next day God had a lilac bush waiting at the post office for me? I had filled out a survey for the Arbor Day Foundation months ago and they sent me 1 lilac bush and some evergreen trees as a thank you gift. By the way we love the Arbor Day Foundation because we love planting baby trees and watching them grow. Great thing to do with your kids if you've never done it. It's a yearly tradition for us.
Last night my mom had been watching Jaxson and Amaya while I took Paige to dance. I went to drop off Paige afterwards for a little while and this is what I found. Amaya had decided to have a Lemonade stand and it was so cute and they were so excited. I am so thankful for my mom's neighbors who were king enough to pay my kids a dollar (they weren't even charging a dollar) for a drink my mom said was really not good and they drank it anyway.

Do You Have Your Mother's Day Gift Yet?
My Mom would love to make you up a gift basket for the special Mother in life life. Mom can even include a special gift card that is made out of seeded paper that you plant and it turns into beautiful flowers to be included with your basket.
You won't find better noodles than these just ask any of her customers. I know I'm her daughter but it's the truth.

I Can't Believe It!
At Easter I ordered the girls dresses from Poppy Dip which is a shop fundraising for adoption. I have been working with Poppy Dip because I am going to be hosting a giveaway for her soon on my giveaway blog. She told me she was having a giveaway on her blog and told me to go sign up. She wrote me today and told me I WON a twirl skirt!!! Have you seen these?
You really should go check out her website and see the amazing things she makes. Also when you at her site on the top of the page if you click on the button to go to her blog she is having another giveaway that you don't want to miss.
If you click the button below it will take you to her site.
Also if you look at the top of my page there is a giveaway for a meditation CD. This is a Christian meditation CD just to help you relax and it is a great CD for moms that need a little time out here and there to relax. Please take the time to click the link and then check out her Etsy shop. This if from a family that is stepping out in Faith to bring home another child because their son adopted from Korea believes he has a brother or sister waiting for him and they decided they can't let money get in the way of giving him a sibling. Please read my review on them and take time to check out their shop. You could be there first customer and they have some very cool things!

Crazy Love
Has anyone read this book? I have been hearing about this book everywhere. Actually I'm pretty sure God has been asking me to read this book for a long time but fear has held me back from reading it.
One thing I vowed to God for my 90 day journey is to try to give fear to him and let him carry it rather than me carry it. The other day I got brave and ordered this book and it is now sitting in front of me but I'm honestly having a hard time opening it because I'm afraid of what God might ask of me by reading this book.
I'm going to do it though, the kids are asleep so I'm going to start reading. If you have read this will you tell me some of the things God called you to do after reading the book.
If you haven't read it you can watch this video below to explain a little about the book.

Here She Is!!!
I know most of you look at this and can't see the beauty that I see in it. I see a beautiful little yellow (OK, someday anyway) car that is full of stories behind it. Makes you wonder how excited the first person was that bought it? Maybe someone fell in love in this car? Maybe someone had their first kiss in this car?
Oh, I sure hope Chris can bring her back to life someday!

Trying Out My New Camera
We have been so busy the last week I hadn't even had time to try out my new camera. Yesterday was my nephews 5th birthday party so I got a chance to play with it. Did you know that a camera should take a picture as soon as you touch the button? My old camera took about 30 seconds before it took the picture.
This is my nephew who turned 5.
This is Jaxson's cousin that he is totally crazy about.

This is my little niece that looks like an angel with her almost white hair. By the way she LOVES the camera and kept asking me to take a picture of just her.
Amaya was having a blast with this beach ball.
Do you think Paige likes cake?

Now you all need to tell me where I go to do all that fancy stuff with my pictures now that I have a good camera.
By the way I talked my hubby into buying me a convertible last night!!! OK, so most of you would think it was a piece of junk but to me I see a beautiful little, 2 seat convertible in my future (wayyyyyyyy future) but hey it was only $150. Yes, we are the proud owners of a little, teeny, tiny, 2 seater, 1972 MG Midget (Google it and you can see what it's supposed to look like). I think my little car needs to be yellow someday!
OK, gotta go. Have a good day and don't forget to give God some time today!

Help Spread the Word and Get A Chance To Win Great Prizes!
Thinking Out Loud
So......I have actually been giving God some time this last couple of weeks. I'll admit it that I'm not so good about that a lot of times. Yes, I pray all the time but sometimes I get so busy in my life that it's like I'm making a quick phone call to God and not spending quality time with him.
Funny thing is that when I started my 90 days with God 2 weeks ago, my life got sooooo busy that there just aren't enough hours in the day. I spend an hour and a half a day now working out. I actually spend time shopping and cooking HEALTHY food not fast foods. My giveaway blog is booming and I figure that God is blessing it and blessing shops through it so I work at it full time. Not to mention all the other things going on.
Somehow though I have found time to do devotions and have quality prayer time with God. Why couldn't I find this time when I wasn't this busy? Do you know what happens when you give God quiet time? You can hear his whispers!
Anyway the sermon last week at church keeps going through my head and these are the questions I have for you:
Do you make time to listen to God?
Do you let God rock your world and possibly let him bless your socks off?
or
Do you choose to live without taking risks and taking the "easy route?"
Just curious.
Now on to a new subject. I posted about 3 boys the other day and the response I got really surprised me. So again I am a little curious and wondering how many people want to adopt, want to bring God's children into their homes but don't know where to start.
Guess what? I would LOVE to help you figure it all out. God has filled my head with lots of info on adoption. Not only international and special needs adoptions but I know a lot of people that can help you no matter how you decide to let God rock your world a little with adoption or foster care. So why don't you rock my world a little and add a little more craziness to my day letting me help you find someone you can love? NOTHING brings a smile to my face like the day someones tells me God has called them to adopt!!!
Please email me at arewethereyetla5[at]verizon[dot]net if you need to know what that first step is.

Lookng For A Good Daily Devotional?
Part of my 90 Day Journey With God is to make sure I spend time with God everyday. I found a GREAT daily devotional online that emailes me devotions every morning. I have done some of these before but I really, really like the one I'm doing now. This one is short, easy to read but very powerful at the same time.
You can check it out here. If you have time to read your email then you have time to meet with God everyday!

3 Boys In Need of A Christian Family
A friend of mine emailed me this morning and asked me to spread the word about 3 boys (brothers) that need a family. They are looking for a Christina family for these boys ages 11, 10 & 8.
The boys have lost their mother and their father in not involved in their lives. They are currently living with their grandmother but she is ill and needs to find them a home. There are no other family members to take the boys in so they really need to find a family.
The boys love sports and going to church.
I you or someone you know might be interested in finding out more about these boys please email me at arewethereyetla5[at]verizon[dot]net.
These boys are in Indiana.

Thankful Thursday on Monday
My friend Rett asked me how my weekend was and after I told her she told me I had to blog about it and I have to say I agree with her.
You know when you have those God moments and there is just no other way to explain but God. That was our weekend this last weekend.
As most of my readers know Chris flips cars to help with our income. He buys used non-running cars and fixes them and sells them. Chris had bought a Cadillac a month or so ago that needed a new engine but those engines aren't cheap and we hadn't had the money yet to look for one. This weekend I found a Cadillac on Cra*gslist that had been wrecked. Chris just knew God had this car for him. We honestly had no idea how much the guy wanted for it but we borrowed a truck, rented a trailer and headed out knowing God would have us coming home with this car.
We were supposed to be at the guys house at a certain time and we were early so we went camera shopping. We have desperately needed a camera and with my blog and us selling cars we needed a camera. We walked into the store and the camera I had wanted was $50 less than anywhere I had found online. We then told the guy we wanted it and the only one he had was one that had been returned but nothing was wrong with it. So this meant they took a large amount off the camera.
We then went to go see the car and the people were honestly the nicest people ever. They sold Chris the car for 1/3 of what that motor is worth. It's funny because when Chris got back in the truck we looked at each other and talked about how friendly these people were. Who knows, maybe they were just angels in human form because God knew we needed that motor. I know it sounds crazy but we strongly believe God has a plan behind ever car we sell.
God has also blessed us big time about giving us some realities of food we had never thought about. I'm not ready to go into detail on here yet what God is teaching us (you would think I was a wack job) but God is teaching both Chris and I that Satan can be behind a lot of the foods we put in our bodies.
We are only a week and a half into our 90 day journey with God but it's amazing how much God will share if your willing to listen. Have you taken the time to listen to God lately?

After 4 years of infertility God blessed us with this amazing miracle pictured below.
Nine months after the birth of this miracle we found out God had given us another miracle.
Two years later we found the most beautiful face of a little boy waiting for a family. After many weeks of us praying for this precious boy to find a family God let us in on the plan that he was our child and not someone else's. Our 2 little ones are only 7 months apart so the are our "virtual twins". So right now we are blessed with 3 miracle children and only God knows how many more we will be blessed with.
Right now I am on a 90 Day Journey with God to try to find out how God wants to use me, learning to feel better by intense exercise and eating healthy foods (I could use some family friendly healthy recipes) and trying to organize my life a little. My best friend and hubby and another friend are along on my journey and we are having a good time.
I would love for you to follow along as I share my passion for God, my family and the 147+ orphans around the world.
I also have a very fun giveaway blog and you can see the links to the giveaways at the top of this page. I would love for you to stop by and sign up for the fun.
Thanks for stopping by and have fun at the party!

Carrots

What We've Been Up To
Here are my cuties pie's all dressed up for Easter. The girls are in their Poppy Dip dresses and they even got to pick out the fabric.
This is a picture of the cousins right after the Easter Egg Hunt. The kids just love it when they get to be together.
This is a picture of the cousins right after the Easter Egg Hunt. The kids just love it when they get to be together.
I started my 90 Day Journey with God last Friday and it has been wonderful. I started with a 2 day cleansing fast which wasn't easy but I felt wonderful at the end of it and I didn't have any cravings for bad food or coffee afterwards. Actually I used to drink 8 cups of coffee by 11:00 AM and I am down to 1/2 a cup a day now.
As a family we are eating very healthy now which is just wonderful. I am not the only one in the house trying to eat healthy. Chris has really been wonderful and is really in this with me and being so supportive.
Chris and I are doing P90X and yes it is HARD but it is soooo much fun too. P90X is a very intense work-out 6 days a week for 90 days.
We have been painting which was one of my goals for this 90 days. We are also getting ready to start a chore system in our house that I am very excited about.
Anyway we have been super busy but with God's help we are making some big changes in our home and it is good.
I couldn't end this post without leaving you with an adorable picture of Kai Kai.

Wow!
Sometimes you read a blog post that just leaves you speechless. If you go to my bloggy friend Adeye's blog you will find one of those posts.
Adeye has been on a very hard journey of faith to bring home their 2 new children and they are finally in their momma's arms.
I know she would love it if you would leave her a kind comment. It gets very lonely when your away from your family in another country.

Thankful Thursday (I know it's been awhile)
OK, I totally need to do Thankful Thursday today! I have to deal with some real parenting issues this morning and to be honest it just stinks! I am sitting here with butterflies in my stomach because of what I have to do this morning (let's just say that one of the kids has learned some hard lessons these last couple of weeks about consequences of actions). OK enough of that.
The other day after we got home from Paigie's surgery we were sooooooo tired. We hadn't slept the night before because Chris heard something in the night (the boiler) and then we couldn't go back to sleep. We honestly felt like we had major jet lag like when your walking in that fog.
We put the kids to bed and Amaya and Jaxson started crying and crying because they forgot their nightime buddies at grandma's house. We really did not have the energy at all to go get them from grandma's.
Chris said "oh, I'll go get them". When he got back this is what I saw:
I am so thankful my kids have a daddy that will run to grandma's to get stuffed animals for his kids even when he's beyond exhausted.
God gave me a good man!!!
